The Starla has been made incredibly adaptable to create the perfect stairlift. Being the most customisable lift the Stannah range has to offer, you can select from a range of five elegant, all-vinyl or all-fabric seat options or add a contemporary light, dark wooden trim, or not trim at all, the choice is yours. Relax on the comfortable and supportive seat, clip your easy-to-use seatbelt (optional), then simply nudge the controller to easily move up or down your stairs.

Safety features created with you in mind

The Starla has been created with thoughtful extra features. It has a seat-load sensor that prevents it from moving until after you’re seated, along with an easy-step foldaway function that neatly folds the chair away so as to take up less space in your home when it’s not being used. The Starla’s seat is not only comfortable with a cushioned pad and high back, the seat is also angled slightly upwards to offer added security. You can also lock your Starla using the removeable key to keep it safe from curious children. If you have limited strength in your hands, you can even select a one or two-way swivel seat, designed for more narrow hallways. The seat can turn to face the hallway or landing, making getting into and out of your Starla much easier. If your Starla detects an obstruction on the stairs such as a child’s toy, its sensorstops the chair straight away.

4. Easy-to-use swivel levers

Use the optional automatic one or two-way swivel or the standard levers to get your stairlift into the safest possible position when at the bottom or top of your stairs.

5. Easy folding

Your footplate, armrests and seat fold away neatly to leave plenty of space on your stairs.

6. Arm Isolation

Keeps your Starla from operating via the control until the armrest nearest the bottom of the staircase is completely lowered.

8. Optional powered footrest

The optional powered footplate is ideal, especially if you find it difficult lifting your feet to get on to your stairlift.

9. Seatbelt

Your optional, retractable, secure seatbelt fastens with just one hand.

10. Seat Sensor

An intelligent sensor keeps your Starla from moving until after you’re seated safely.

11. Safety Edges

If any obstructions are detected on the stairs, sensors will stop your Starla.
