The top and sides are covered by a Ultathane Supreme HR heavy duty PU cover CARRFLEX, which is 100% waterproof, yet allows for breathability and minimises shearing thanks to its 4-way stretch. With a zip and a canvas base, this cover is removable and washable while offering a snug fit without creasing.

The Quatro-foam mattress uses a combination of 4 different density foams to allow for optimum pressure distribution. Featuring a 4.7cm memory foam top layer. The extra firm sides and base are made from a durable polyurethane, which is a flexible foam which is extra durable. Having strong edge supports bring you the below benefits

Our two middle layers are a very soft medium density foam, followed by a medium feel medium density foam. Layering the foam in this way allows for the different layers to perform in absorbing the pressure from the different areas of the body. Looking at the density and firmness of the various layers, you will see that while the top half of the mattresses use very soft materials such as memory foam and high density, yet soft foam. The second half of the mattress is of medium to high-density with a firm to even solid feel. This means that the top layers can absorb the weight and mould to the body, while the bottom layers allow for a firm base, stopping you from sinking too deep into a mattress and feeling “trapped”. Having a firmer base will make it easier to turn as well as to transfer in and out of bed.
